Bouncing off of my previous post about YouTube being a good resource for furthering knowledge about hobbies, it's also a great resource to find out about other cultures and ways of living.
The video provided in this post is by some YouTubers that I've been following for years. They're called the "Fung Bros." and this video takes us on a foodie adventure around Toronto. The video shows all of the different Asian cuisines that Toronto has to offer. So not only are we learning about the Asian culture and what their food entails, but also about how we can expect to experience the food and the restaurants that are in the video. We get to know how the food looks, how the food tastes, and the positives and negatives as opposed to having to go out and find out ourselves whether we like the food or not. While this does take away from the experience of self-exploration, it does provide a safety net when it comes to expectations of the food.
Being a foodie, I find this video extremely useful as I am still relatively new to Toronto. I will definitely be trying out DZO, the Vietnamese restaurant showcased in the video, sometime soon.
